Trek Madona road bikes

Road bicycles are designed for use on tarmac/hard surfaces and are characterised by narrow tyres, which are usually inflated to relatively high pressures (6-8 bar) for low rolling resistance.

The frame of a road bicycle has a special geometry and the shape of the handlebars (in the form of ram's horns) allows the rider's hands and body to be positioned in such a way as to minimise air resistance and ensure a long-lasting comfortable ride. Modern road bikes are also equipped with disc brakes, which make braking effective in all weather conditions.
